Pandemics can change the way that we work, but essential services are still required, and it’s important that you stay within the law, so make sure your team’s training is kept up to date. There are several ways Stallard Kane can safely deliver learning during a pandemic…
We continue to run our open courses, but with limited numbers and with adjustments in place to ensure that it is a COVID-secure environment.
• No sharing of equipment, all candidates have their own equipment for the day
• All desks are seated over 2m apart to maintain social distancing
• Reduced candidate numbers
• No refreshments provided, candidates are welcome to bring their own
• Well ventilated rooms
We can also run courses at your site, providing you have COVID secure measures in place & a large enough training room available which can be set up to maintain social distancing at all times.
We have adapted the way in which we deliver our courses and can now offer many of our courses as a Virtual Classroom, delivered via Zoom. This means that staff do not all have to be in the same room for training, they just need access to a computer/laptop, camera and microphone to be able to attend. This offers greater flexibility for companies who still have staff working from home, or do not have a large enough training room to meet the social distancing requirements.
We also offer, via our training partners, CITB courses, such as SMSTS and SSSTS remotely via distance learning, using Zoom.
Most courses can now be delivered remotely, although there are some exceptions, please contact our training team to find out more.
An employee on furlough can still undertake ‘training’ or ‘learning’ as long as it cannot be used by the employer to generate revenue.
If an employee is required to complete training that will potentially generate revenue for the company, this will bring furlough leave to an end. Our training courses should all be suitable for
employees on furlough to undertake, but please contact your HR advisor or our HR team for clarification.
Growth Training for Senior Managers
Often new Board members have reached the level because they are very good in a single area (Finance, HR, Operations etc). This course will take new Executives through an overview of the whole organisation responsibilities that come with being promoted to a more senior level.
Some organisations are highly experienced at being able to understand the cross-cutting needs of their organisation. This course gives an introduction to the kinds of diagnostic and reporting they use.
If you’ve carried out an organisational diagnostic, you will know your starting point. This course covers how to take that starting point and turn it into strategy and plans for the immediately foreseeable future.
‘The lost caverns of Head Office’ is one description for corporate performance returns, whether they be financial, personnel, operational, project etc. This course takes you through an overview of tried and tested ways of monitoring how well your plans are going, without creating a mass of returns that take time from those creating them and aren’t read by those receiving them.
